The form of the license agreement with the author(s) of the scientific journal of the Russian Academy of Sciences (available for download).
The form of the license agreement with the author(s), posted on the official resources of the Russian Academy of Sciences, is the only one approved by the Russian Academy of Sciences for use.
In accordance with the license agreement, the author grants the Russian Academy of Sciences an exclusive license to use a previously unpublished article in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.
No fee is charged to authors.
Online submission of manuscripts is carried out through the editorial and publishing system of scientific journals of the Russian Academy of Sciences on the national platform of periodical scientific publications of the Russian Center for Scientific Research (Click to follow).
To use the system, the user must register and log in in accordance with the rules for using the platform.
Rules for Authors
The Editorial Board of the journal “Журнал физической химии // Russian Journal of Physical Chemistry” accepts original scientific articles in all areas of physical chemistry. The journal also publishes materials of scientific conferences on the most pressing problems of physical chemistry.
Articles in Russian and English are accepted.
The conclusion of a license agreement is the basis for submitting a manuscript for production, since the author guarantees not only the granting of certain rights to its use, but also the originality of the article, the transfer of the article to only one publisher, as well as compliance with the rules for using borrowed materials.
Authors should exclude unacceptable practices listed below:
- fabrications and falsifications of data;
- plagiarism: illegal use of other people's ideas and works without proper indication of the source and obtaining permission to use them;
- re-publication: submission of articles to several journals;
- duplicate publications (self-plagiarism: sending and publishing similar or identical manuscripts to different journals, often in different languages. All materials submitted for publication are reviewed anonymously.
The manuscript sent to the authors for revision must be returned in a corrected form within two months. The revised manuscript should be accompanied by a letter from the authors describing the corrections made and containing answers to all the reviewer's comments.
Manuscripts are not returned to authors. The editorial board has the right not to correspond with the author regarding the reasons (grounds) for refusal to publish. After the manuscript is accepted for publication, the author cannot make any significant changes or additions.
After publication, the author receives a copy of the article in PDF format.
Articles submitted to the editorial board must be designed in compliance with the following rules.
An electronic version in Microsoft Word format (by e-mail) is submitted to the editor.
The article should be accompanied with the authors' data (last name, first name, patronymic if any, e-mail, home and office phone numbers).
Articles should be carefully edited. The material is presented in the most concise form, the volume of the article should not exceed 20-22 pages of typewritten text. This volume includes: text, tables, bibliography, and captions. The recommended number of drawings is no more than 10 (including a, b, etc., i.e. Fig. 1a and 1b count as 2 figures). All material should be sent in a single Word file.
The volume of manuscripts sent to the "Short messages" section should not exceed 8 pages of typewritten text.
Pages of manuscripts should have a uniform numbering, including tables, captions under figures, and a list of references.
In the text, you must specify the place for drawings, putting the number of the drawing in the field. Numbered formulas must be printed from the red line, and the formula number must be placed at the right edge of the page. It is advisable to number only those formulas that are referenced.
You can't repeat the same data in text, tables, or figures.
Materials should primarily use physical units and designations adopted in the International SI System of Units (GOST 9867-61), as well as relative atomic masses of elements on a scale of 12C. The authors of the programs used must be specified in the calculation works. When naming various compounds and research methods, it is necessary to use IUPAC terminology.
